WHAT’S OUR MISSION?

The main goal of BOB’s LTC (License to Carry) Class is to teach people how to safely and responsibly carry a concealed handgun in Texas. This involves a few key things:

  1. Education: Making sure participants understand the laws and rules about concealed handguns, so they know what's legal and right.

  2. Safety: Teaching people how to handle and store handguns safely to avoid accidents and to be responsible gun owners.

  3. Skills: Helping people become good at shooting so they can meet the state's requirements and use a handgun safely if they need to.

  4. Confidence: Giving people the knowledge and abilities to make smart choices about carrying a concealed handgun for self-defense.

  5. Following the Rules/Laws: Making sure people know and follow all the laws and rules about concealed carry to avoid legal problems.

  6. Being Safe: Promoting a culture where people with LTCs are always thinking about safety, getting more training, being aware of their surroundings, and doing the right thing with their handguns.

In short, our LTC class gets people ready to use their Second Amendment rights safely and responsibly while also keeping their communities safe.
